Your door locks can make the difference between having a secure home and being another victim of a relatively unstoppable crime trend. There was once a time when provided you possessed closed the doors, you pretty much knew your home was secure, sadly this is no longer the case. Regrettably the inter-net is in part responsible for this. Like the ‘Force’ the inter-net also has a Dark side, and in recent years it has seen a growing number sites offering information on Lock picking and Locksmiths Tools 먹튀검증 for sale. As a semi-retired Locksmith I regret the passing of this kind of information into the public domain, but we must accept the fact that, what could once be regarded secure, is secure no longer. We must ‘up-the -anti’ on the inter-net crime school. The good news is that a great deal of what has found its way onto the inter-net is of poor, indeed some of it is so bad, it could be considered dis-information, this works to your advantage.

A search on the inter-net for lock picking will inevitably bring up amongst its results you tube videos of folks proudly indicating their lock picking skills. I have a few comments to make about them; they all are indicating on poor locks, on which they have no doubt been practicing for a long time. Nevertheless these videos do serve one useful purpose, and that is to bring home to ordinary decent folks, that they are at serious risk placing their trust in inferior locks. Another factor that works to your benefit is that, there is a world of difference between selecting a lock you have come to know in the relative comfort of a class, and attempting the same principle on an unknown freeze a potentially hostile environment.

There are 5 broad kinds of locks in general use around the world; cylinder-locks, lever-locks, tubular-locks, combination locks, and electronic locks. Many electronic locks also add a keyed storage container lock over-ride in-case of power or electronic failure, this of course renders then liable to the same lock-picking techniques as ordinary cylinder-locks. Tubular locks are not used for doors of domestic or commercial properties. Combination locks have their own disadvantages discussed elsewhere, many also have keyed over-rides, similar to the electronic locks. This leaves us with storage container locks, and lever locks.

Modern lever locks are trusted in the uk and Europe but not used much in the usa. These locks incorporate a number of anti-lock-pick devices and are loved by insurers and police. Locksmiths need special tools to pick them, these are expensive and not available to the inter net crime school. This type of lock may very well be secure, (that is provided you don’t keep a spare key under the door sleeping pad! ). Locks of this type mould to the British/European standard BALONEY EN 12209.

Storage container Locks are the most in-demand type globally, and this is where the bulk of the difficulties lie. Lower grade and therefore many older storage container locks are susceptible to about half dozen different lock-picking techniques. The inter net crime school has latched on to two or three of these techniques. The most popular one being lock ‘bumping’ as it requires the least skill, it does however require the ownership of a ‘bump key’, and a ball key is specific to a particular make and type of storage container lock. It is not my purpose here to promote one particular lock manufacturer, most of the major lock manufacturers now produce ball proof locks. They have arrived at their ball proof solutions in numerous ways, this is a positive thing, as the diversity improves the overall security of door locks. Remember that Lock bumping is not the only technique available to the inter net crime school, so, if your one of the majority of readers who really need to look at the quality of their door locks, the following guidelines should help to sort the wheat from the chaff. The new lock storage container should have more than one set of pins, look for cylinders with the added security of a sidebar mechanism. The lock should have a solidified steel ‘anti routine ball’, take keys of a different profile to others around you, (preferably a restricted profile-you may need to consult a professional locksmith for this), and may be declared ball proof by its manufacturer. Lastly use a lock from a hot manufacturer, (AssaAbloy, Schlage, Ingersoll, Kwickset, Kaba, Medeco to mention but a few).

You might wish to add an additional lock to your doors, and I can tell you from painful personal experience, its the demon to have to pick a lock that’s either high or low on a door. Also remember that, (as I have mentioned elsewhere) Master keyed locks are safer to pick than standard locks, also your locks may not be the only security conditions that require your attention.

No matter what, you shouldn’t put any kind of beeswax on your hair. In the past many have believed that using beeswax was the only why to start locks. However, this ideology couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, using beeswax actually isn’t a good thing at all. Several reasons that feel is a “no-no” is simply because of the fact that feel doesn’t breakdown in water. What does this mean? It means that no matter how much you wash nice hair, the beeswax will forever be in your locks. Feel also attracts debris, lint, dirt, contaminants, and other undesired things into you hair that might also be hard to launder out. If you happen to meet someone that uses beeswax on their hair, look at their locks and you will see the build-up that using feel has left over the years. There are other products which they can use to lock nice hair that are also best for nice hair as well. Products such as lanolin, honey, essential olive oil, avocado butter, shea butter, and similar items can have the same holding power as feel BUT lead to healthier hair.

Sometimes we get eager when we get to different levels in the locking process. One big milestone will be when your hair gets long enough to include a ponytail. Once you reach that stage, you might have the urge to always throw nice hair up in a ponytail, EVERYDAY. Please resist this urge. Repeatedly wearing nice hair in the same hairstyle day in and day trip, will create weak spots in those area that are continuously under stress due to tight hair ties, hair pins, hair bands, and other hair accoutrements. For example, if you like to wear nice hair in a ponytail everyday, you might notice down the line that in the same area on every lock you have a spot where your locks look like they might break. This weak spot is from constantly using a hair tie to hold your pigtail. Also, always pulling nice hair back may also cause grip alopecia because of the constant tension on your hairline. Try to be mindful and try to give your locks time to TRY TO BE.
